This month’s issue of Poetry magazine includes D.H. Tracy’s translation of Amrita Pritam’s “Empty Space”. Of this poem, the translator says, “So far I find it her most affecting.”  I’m working with a small sample size, but I agree. I’m still caught between her lines.
